Mangrove Bay Development &
​Lotus Construction - ​2014 - 2019

​Mangrove Bay is a peninsula jutting out into the Gordon river.  Located at the end of Goodlette, in downtown Naples in between the new Baker Park and Bayfront Shopping Center.  With a limited collection of only 53 homes available on Old Naples’ last remaining significant waterfront residential property, Mangrove Bay provides all the luxuries that only an Old Naples address can afford. 

Infrastructure / Land Development

Randy and Vicki were the developer's representatives, and managed the 15-acre site development project in two separate phases over a five year period. Randy was the first point of contact to all disciplines involved. This parcel of land, once owned by the Pulling family, is one of the most environmentally sensitive areas in Naples resulting in a challenging job. 

Construction Management

Randy and Vicki were also hired to manage Lotus Construction, a company the developer created to build out Mangrove Bay.  We enjoyed managing the startup activities and creating a strong foundation for this exciting new company. We were tasked with building a team of talented managers, administrators, suppliers and craftsman. Randy led the construction team and Vicki led the operations team.

The Team

The developer Jon Rubinton, built the dream team to design Mangrove Bay.  Project Designer and Architect is Naples finest, Matthew Kragh at MHK Architecture. The site was designed by the legendary Christian Andrea at Architectural Land Design. Civil Engineering by Jay Westendorf at Omega Consulting and Engineering. Josh Maxwell, Chief P.E. at Turrell, Hall & Associates provided the ​marine engineering for the new seawall, dredging, dock construction and restoration within this challenging environmentally sensitive area. Richards & Martin was proud to provide Site Development and Construction Management and had a wonderful experience with all of these professionals and other top tradesman in our local building community bringing this community to life.
